COMPANY PROFILE
INTRODUCTION
I have started my Mining activities and Mineral business as Managing Partner of M/ s. LOGA MINERALS & CHEMICALS in the year 1976. We, M/ s.Loga Minerals & Chemicals supplied LIMESTONE LUMPS to giant cement industries like M/ s. INDIA CEMENTS CHETTINAD CEMENTS. High grade limestone ( Steel & Chemicals grade) was supplied various steel industries like STEEL COMPLEX KERALA & CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES.
GRINDING UNIT
A Grinding Unit ( Raymond 3 roller pulveriser) was installed in 1982 under a new firm namely ( M/ s. RADHA CHEMICALS & BHAGAWATHI MINERALS & CHEMICALS and supplying Feldspar powder of 200 mesh to M/ s. SPARTEK CERAMICS, ANDHRA PRADESH, then in 2001 we started our supplying to Regma Ceramics Ltd, H. & R. Johnson ( India) Ltd, Karaikkal Feldspar ( 100 & 140 Mesh) powder 1500 M.T/ Month. Feldspar chips 2mm-8mm to Tata Ceramics Ltd, Kakkanad, Cochin. 200 M.T/ Month. We always supplied to the above companies strictly as per their required specifications such as size and quality. It is very much important to them since companys are pioneers in manufacturer of Tiles & Ceramics and Govt of India awarded ISO 9002 , DNV, BVQI, status to this company.
GROWTH
In the meantime we acquired more mining leases and started mining in big way. We have been exporting FELDSPAR LUMPS since from 1996 all Malaysian tiles/ ceramics companies . At present we supply around 10, 000 – 30, 000 m.t of Feldspar/ annum , 10, 000 MT of Quartz ( CHMBF) and 40000 tons/ month of Limestone & Fireclay( CEMENT & TILES FACTORY) .
We are also supplying FELDSPAR Lumps to W.S. Industries ( India) Ltd, CHENNAI for the past 20 years. Particularly W.S. Industries ( India) Ltd, is reputed INSULATORS manufacturer having ISO 9002 status.
QUALITY AWARENESS
While doing mining and mineral business for the past two decades, we are well aware of required specifications such a size & quality of various companies. We always adhered to their specifications and we had never received any small complaints from them till date.
MINING POTENTIAL
We possess 36 MINING LEASES in our OWN PATTALANDS of various minerals like QUARTZ & FELDSPAR, LIMESTONE, GRANITES, BALL CLAY & SOAPSTONE. We have 20 mining leases bearing quartz & feldspar covering about 200 ACRES, having lease granted up to the year 2021. The potential of these lease will have life of more than 100 years. 10 mining leases of granites, 4 leases of limestone, two leases of fire clay stone lease of steatite ( Soap Stone) .
MEN & MACHINARY
We have qualified First class mine manager and mine supervisors skilled and other categories of mine workers in our roll. We also have wagon drill equipment & Jack hammer drills with compressor. Our own earth moving equipment like L & T Poclain – CK 90, Tata Hitachi EX 100 and JCB ( Escorts) and SEVEN 16 – Ton tippers deployed in our mines. We can able produce 100 – 200 M.T/ day of feldspar – 150-300m.t of quartz with the help of Machines.
AWARDS
Our mine received coveted award as best maintained mine in Tamil Nadu / Kerala chapter for its production, safety & Environment from Indian Bureau of Mines. Life time achievement award in chosen field of activity in 2002 , Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani award 2001, Bhartiya Udyog ratan award 2000, for excellance in chosen field activity 2003 , jewel of India gold medal award in 2003 in Bangalore & Delhi.
CONCLUSION
We have enough potential within ourselves in terms of mining leases, men, machinery, grinding unit. We have programme to enhence our production to cater the needs of various companies without compromising the “ QUALITY REQUIREMENT OF THE NEEDY INDUSTRIES” , since “ PRODUCTION WITH QUALITY” is our AIM & MOTTO.
